Year-End Home Party Prep Complete at Seven Eleven... Featuring Christmas Cakes and Cookies

Seven Eleven announced on the 17th that it will launch a variety of products needed for home parties to celebrate Christmas and the year-end season.

The products to be released include limited edition character cakes, premium cookies, home party lobster baskets, and more. In particular, reflecting the trend of reasonable consumption in the era of high prices, special mini cakes priced under 10,000 won have been prepared.

The cakes mainly feature Sanrio Characters designs such as ‘My Melody’, ‘Kuromi’, and ‘Cinnamoroll’. Various products are prepared, including mini lunchbox cakes for 1-2 person households, 1-ho cakes and roll cakes for multiple people to share, and mini Basque cheesecakes. The mini lunchbox cakes come in two types: ‘Cinnamoroll Milk Cake’ and ‘Kuromi Choco Cake’. These products were exclusively launched by Seven Eleven last July and gained popularity to the extent that the initial stock of 50,000 units sold out in less than a week.

Experience-type products that allow children to decorate cakes themselves will also be released. The two types, ‘Cake Making Jurassic’ and ‘Cake Making Minions’, include three cake sheets, two types of cream in different colors, and character picks, allowing customers to enjoy the fun of making cakes themselves. In addition, a total of 19 different cake products will be introduced, including ‘Fresh Cream Cheesecake’ filled with Maeil Milk’s fresh cream, ‘Milk Cream Cheese Roll Cake’ made with French Kiri cream cheese, ‘Oat Roll Cake’ using Amazing Oat Milk, and ‘Bio Strawberry Roll Cake’ using bio yogurt.

Cookies also stand out. The ‘Hong Kong Jenny Cookie’, which has become a must-have item for Hong Kong travel, is prepared as a Christmas edition, and the ‘Grains Collection Cookie Set’ and ‘Grains Charmant Cookie Set’ are also available. Additionally, for hearty home party food, ‘Home Party Lobster Basket’ and for year-end enjoyment with the whole family, ‘Rice Thief Seasoned Flower Crab’ and ‘Spicy Sweet Soy Sauce Shrimp’ are sold.

Seven Eleven’s year-end season products can be purchased or pre-ordered at Seven Eleven stores nationwide from the 20th of this month to the 20th of next month. Pre-ordered products can be picked up directly at stores or received by delivery. Orders can be placed using the online catalog posted on the Seven Eleven website and mobile application (app) or the leaflets available at each store.

To commemorate the launch of Christmas season products, Seven Eleven has prepared a special promotion throughout December. Customers who purchase cakes and desserts among the season products with a Woori Card will receive a 30% instant discount, and after purchasing season products and accumulating points on the Seven app, they will be given a 5,000 won Seven Eleven mobile gift certificate.

A Seven Eleven official said, "Recently, the new term ‘breadflation’ (bread + inflation) has emerged, reflecting the soaring price sensitivity for related products, and at the same time, there is a lot of interest in reasonably priced desserts. Reflecting this consumption trend, we are introducing special products so that customers can prepare home parties at a good price under 10,000 won, and we expect a good response this season."
