Seoul City "Students Who Finished Suneung, Gather"…Career Programs and More Offered

Seoul City announced on the 17th that it has prepared a variety of programs for teenagers who took the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) to enjoy in a wholesome way. Programs such as career special lectures, performances, and cultural events are ready to help relieve academic stress and assist in planning careers after the CSAT.

First, the Seoul Youth Future Career Center will hold the '2023 Future Career Special Lecture - Revisited Interview,' where participants can hear vivid field stories from various professionals, on the 30th of this month and the 1st of next month.


At the Seoul Youth Music Center, planned performances featuring singer-songwriter Jeokjae (November 25), classical diva Lim Sun-hye (November 30), and pianist Son Yeol-eum (December 5) will be held.


In addition, various career programs will be offered at city and district youth facilities throughout the city. Detailed information can be found on the comprehensive youth program guide service 'Youth Navi' or on each facility’s website.


The city will conduct special inspections around schools and busy local areas in cooperation with autonomous districts, the police, and the Youth Harmful Environment Monitoring Team until the 1st of next month to prevent teenagers from being exposed to harmful environments after the CSAT.


Also, on the same day until 11 p.m., a 'Visiting Street Counseling' service will be provided by a coalition of 35 organizations, including youth welfare facilities and police stations, at 11 youth-dense areas such as around Sillim Station, Yeonsinnae area, and near Cheonho Rodeo Street.


Gu Jong-won, Director of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Lifelong Education, said, "Through the post-CSAT programs prepared by the city and the crackdown on harmful environments for youth, we will do our best to help many teenagers relieve their accumulated stress in a healthy and safe way and plan a hopeful future beyond the CSAT."
