HL Holdings announced on the 16th that it has opened a Fleet On Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The facility is designed for used car reconditioning and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) before new car delivery, and the company explained that it is the largest fleet service center in Korea operated for commercial purposes such as rental cars and car sharing. It can accommodate 1,500 vehicles at once on a 30,000㎡ site.
The main business is used car reconditioning. Certified used cars, whose quality is guaranteed by the company, go through five stages: vehicle inspection, diagnosis, restoration, certification, and sales. This center is equipped with its own diagnostic and certification inspection facilities. It plans to introduce video recognition artificial intelligence (AI) inspection equipment in the first half of next year, which can diagnose the vehicle’s exterior, undercarriage, tires, and sheet metal condition in just 10 seconds.
PDI also handles the entire process of checking automotive functions, interior and exterior inspection, license plate attachment, vehicle registration, accessory installation, and delivery to the customer. Both domestic and imported cars are handled. In addition, the center offers services such as used car re-rental brokerage and consignment sales support. Kim Jun-beom, CEO of HL Holdings, said, "With the latest infrastructure and facilities fully equipped and partnerships with industry-leading affiliates, our client companies will be satisfied."
