Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that on the 13th, it held the inaugural ceremony of the 1st ‘Gokseong Train Village Traditional Market SNS Supporters’ at the Gokseong Leisure Culture Center and Gokseong Train Village Traditional Market.
The event was attended by the Gokseong Train Village Traditional Market Merchants Association, the head of the Train Village Traditional Market Cultural Tourism Market Development Project Group, and officials from Gokseong-gun.
The attendees conveyed messages of expectation and support for the newly launched supporters team.
Gokseong-gun, aiming to foster cultural tourism markets and revitalize traditional markets, awarded appointment certificates to the supporters and conducted preliminary training for SNS activities.
The ‘Gokseong Train Village Traditional Market SNS Supporters’ consist of 20 influencers and university students from across the country.
They will carry out the mission of widely promoting the hidden charms of the traditional market through various social media channels mainly used by the MZ generation.
Additionally, the supporters plan to vividly deliver unique foods, culture, and various news of the Gokseong Train Village Traditional Market through Instagram, Facebook, blogs, etc., and promote the market in creative ways.
Choi Yong-hwan, president of the Train Village Traditional Market Merchants Association, said, “From now on, together with the SNS supporters, we will share delicious foods, attractive products, and heartwarming stories to spread fun news about the Train Village Traditional Market.”
An official from Gokseong-gun stated, “Through the Gokseong-gun SNS supporters, it seems an opportunity has been created to reflect on-site opinions from the demand side. We will provide lively videos and SNS content together with the supporters team in the future.”
