Ramiran's 'Simindeokhee' to Open in January Next Year

The film 'Citizen Deokhee' is set to be released in January next year, distributor Showbox announced on the 14th.

'Citizen Deokhee' depicts the story that unfolds when Jaemin, a member of a fraud organization who deceived ordinary citizen Deokhee through voice phishing, sends a request for help.

Actress Ra Mi-ran takes center stage as Deokhee, a citizen who lost her entire fortune from a single phone call. Deokhee, who was looking for loan options after a fire at her laundry business, falls into the trap of voice phishing when she is offered a loan product by Son Dae-ri from the bank she deals with.

Gong Myung plays Jaemin, known as Son Dae-ri, a member of the voice phishing organization who proposed the fake loan product to Deokhee. Having been exploited by the voice phishing group that deceives young people with high-paying part-time jobs, he secretly sends a rescue signal to Deokhee.

Yeom Hye-ran, Jang Yoon-ju, and Ahn Eun-jin appear as the so-called 'Deok Avengers,' supporting Deokhee's seemingly reckless pursuit.
