Gwangju police are implementing special traffic measures ahead of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency plans to manage traffic around the test sites on the 16th, when the CSAT will be held.
First, from 6 a.m. on the test day, 404 personnel including police officers and exemplary drivers, along with 75 patrol cars and police motorcycles, will be deployed mainly at major congested intersections within a 2km radius of the test sites.
Vehicle access will be restricted 200 meters ahead of the test sites, and in cooperation with local governments, illegal parking and stopping around the test sites will be monitored and controlled in advance.
If issues such as loss or absence of admission tickets or confusion about the test site occur, convenient transportation to the test site will be promptly provided by nearby patrol cars.
During the listening test period (1:10 p.m. to 1:35 p.m., 3rd period), drivers are requested to refrain from using car horns, and students are encouraged to use public transportation to ensure smooth entry to the test sites.
