Moonbear Brewing, the craft beer brand of Kyochon F&B, announced on the 14th the release of three new beer products.
The new products are ‘Moonbear Honey Ale’, ‘Moonbear Sauvignon Blanc IPA’, and ‘Moonbear Moscato Sweet Ale’. All of them use granite bedrock water drawn from 200 meters underground in Seoraksan, characterized by a clean and refreshing taste. With subtle aroma and flavor, they pair well with various foods, making tables richer at various gatherings during the year-end season.
Moonbear Honey Ale is made by adding domestically produced acacia honey, which is used in Kyochon’s signature honey sauce. It is a beer that offers a pleasant aftertaste by blending the rich aroma typical of ale with the sweet and subtle scent and taste of honey. With a low alcohol content of 4.0%, it can be enjoyed lightly by anyone. It boasts a ‘honey combination’ with Kyochon Chicken’s Red Series and Black Series, which deliver a strong ‘spicy-sweet-salty’ flavor with a smooth throat feel.
Moonbear Sauvignon Blanc IPA uses only ‘Nelson Sauvin’, a special hop from New Zealand, evoking the aroma of ripe tropical fruits reminiscent of white wine. It has received high praise for its dry and clean taste and won the gold prize at the Korea International Beer Awards (KIBA 2023) held earlier.
Moonbear Moscato Sweet Ale is a sweet sparkling beer. It blends 100% Moscato grape juice with ale beer, fully capturing the aroma of green grapes.
The three new products can be enjoyed at the flagship store ‘Kyochon Pilbang’ located in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and at Kyochon Chicken franchise stores (limited to participating stores).
