Seoyoung ENT, leading a healthy food culture through creative innovation and new challenges, has introduced the MorningIsBack pill and stick-type hangover relief products following their beverage formulation.
Seoyoung ENT is an affiliate of the HiteJinro Group, the originator of traditional soju with a 99-year history. With the concept of "a reliable hangover relief solution made by experts who know alcohol best" and utilizing the Jinro Toad character IP, which is highly popular among the MZ generation, the company plans to appeal familiarity to existing hangover relief consumers in their 40s and 50s, and trendiness to the MZ generation through packaging and branded content.
The beverage (drink) formulation released last July has gained attention from 'healthy pleasure' consumers who are interested in diet and exercise by offering a low calorie count of 45kcal and reduced sugar content.
Meanwhile, the MZ generation prefers convenient pill or jelly (stick) types among hangover relief products, and the domestic non-beverage hangover relief market has rapidly expanded, growing by 146% over four years.
Accordingly, Seoyoung ENT announced the launch of non-beverage products such as pills and sticks reflecting customer needs. All these new products feature a long and slim design that enhances portability and convenience.
The pill type is made by optimally blending 17 carefully selected ingredients from the originator of soju, boasting a comfortable throat feel and excellent absorption with a moderate 5mm size. It easily fits into pockets or bags, allowing for convenient enjoyment anytime, anywhere.
The stick type is available in two flavors: sweet blueberry and refreshing green apple. It is made by optimally blending Oriental raisin tree, which suits Koreans best, and other effective ingredients for hangover relief. The capacity is generously set at 20g, which is 10% more than other brands.
To coincide with the launch of these new products, Seoyoung ENT is conducting various sampling events such as office attacks and quiz events through their official Instagram channel, and plans to introduce diverse promotions targeting the main consumer group, the MZ generation.
