SK Inc. C&C announced on the 14th that it has launched a project to build a generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based question-and-answer service in collaboration with NH Nonghyup Bank.
This project involves adding a generative AI-based question-and-answer service to NH Nonghyup Bank’s existing AI banker, text-to-speech (TTS) technology, and intelligent document processing services.
Through this, the AI will review work regulations, guidelines, and various internal bank reports to support bank employees in their tasks. In the future, the service will be expanded to customer-facing services to assist with customer support.
SK Inc. C&C will implement task-specific Q&A services using AI prompts that link knowledge repositories for each banking work area with Microsoft (MS) Azure-based 'Open AI.' Unlike conventional AI chatbots that respond according to predetermined scenarios set by humans, the AI will generate answers directly based on data from the bank’s internal knowledge repositories.
To ensure the reliability of answers to queries, sources will be cited, and a highlighting feature will be provided to offer source information. Additionally, security technologies will be applied to comply with guidelines set by the National Intelligence Service and the Financial Security Institute, and to fundamentally prevent the external leakage of sensitive information within the bank.
Kim Hwajung, Head of the Financial Digital Innovation Group at SK Inc. C&C, said, "Since NH Nonghyup Bank is highly interested in business innovation through AI digital transformation, we expect the expansion of generative AI technology across various business areas. As NH Nonghyup Bank’s digital ITS partner, SK Inc. C&C will actively support diverse financial innovations based on digital AI throughout the bank’s operations."
