The Gyeonggi-do Construction New Technology Expo will open on the 22nd of this month at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang.
Gyeonggi-do announced on the 13th that it will host the "2023 Gyeonggi-do Construction New Technology Expo," held from the 22nd to the 24th at KINTEX. The event is organized by the Korea Construction and Transportation New Technology Association and supported by the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, aiming to spotlight outstanding domestic construction new technologies and promote K-Construction development.
Under the theme "New Changes with New Technology," this event will feature over 60 companies related to construction new technologies operating 72 booths. The booths will be arranged by fields such as civil engineering and architecture to exhibit and demonstrate new construction technologies and methods.
On the 22nd, during the opening ceremony, an awards ceremony will be held for 15 individuals recognized as "Meritorious Contributors to Construction New Technology" and winners of the "2023 Construction New Technology Competition," who have contributed to the activation of construction new technologies.
Notably, during the expo period at KINTEX, the ▲Smart Construction Expo ▲Gyeonggi-do Traffic Safety Expo ▲Road Traffic Expo will be held simultaneously.
Jung Seon-woo, Director of the Gyeonggi-do Construction Bureau, stated, "Through the Gyeonggi-do Construction New Technology Expo, partnerships between ordering agencies and small and medium-sized enterprises will be formed, providing SMEs with opportunities to introduce excellent technologies and enabling ordering agencies to discover and apply outstanding technologies, leading to mutually beneficial outcomes."
