Gmarket announced on the 12th that it will hold the 'Big Smile Day' until the 19th, offering up to 80% discounts on over 7,000 products from 130 domestic and international brands.
The 130 brands featured in the Big Smile Day special section are categorized into seven groups: Digital & Electronics, Furniture & Living, Fashion & Beauty, Sports & Leisure, Food, Daily Necessities, and Overseas Direct Purchase & Travel. Clicking on each specialized section links to the promotion page of the respective brand, where customers can check additional benefits such as up to 20% brand overlap coupons that can be used together with the general Big Smile Day coupons. Key special discount products with increased discount rates are also easily accessible at a glance.
A total of 10 mega sponsorship brands offer differentiated benefits. These mega sponsorships include brands such as Roborock, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Ecovacs, Intel, Philips, ASUS, and Cuckoo, all categorized under Digital & Electronics. Since these brands sell relatively high-priced products, customers can purchase them at reasonable prices through Big Smile Day. For example, the Ecovacs T8 Omni robot vacuum cleaner, normally priced in the 900,000 KRW range, is available in the low 700,000 KRW range, and the Galaxy Book 2, usually priced in the 600,000 KRW range, can be purchased in the 400,000 KRW range.
Popular major brand products from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are also offered at special prices. Samsung Electronics provides various overlapping discount coupons depending on the appliance, and if customers purchase two different Samsung Electronics items together, they can receive an additional payment discount of up to 500,000 KRW based on the purchase amount. Additionally, purchasing recommended Samsung Electronics products comes with emoticon gifts. LG Electronics also offers overlapping discount coupons and card discounts of up to 500,000 KRW for multiple purchases, and until the 12th, the LG StanbyME TV Calming Beige model is exclusively sold on Gmarket and Auction. Applying all these benefits allows customers to purchase Samsung Bespoke refrigerators and LG WashTower at online lowest price levels.
Gmarket also collaborated with manufacturers to create Big Smile Day exclusive products. The wet tissue brand Bebesup renewed its steady seller Bebesup Premier exclusively for Big Smile Day and sells it at a final discounted price of 20,990 KRW.
A Gmarket representative said, "In line with the reputation as the biggest shopping festival of the year, we offer additional discount benefits by gathering all the preferred brands. On top of the basic discounts, customers can receive overlapping brand discounts and card payment discounts, and when combined with gift certificates or free gifts provided by the brands, they can enjoy much stronger benefits than usual."
