On the same day, Crown Prince Mohammed said at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) special summit held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, urging Israel to "end the blockade of the Gaza Strip and allow humanitarian aid."
Crown Prince Mohammed placed responsibility for the crimes committed against the Palestinian people on the occupying authorities, blaming Israel for the current situation. At the same time, regarding Hamas, which abducted about 250 people during the surprise attack on Israel on October 7, he said, "We demand the release of the hostages."
At the same event, Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority (PA), said, "Our people are facing a war of genocide," and added, "The West Bank and Jerusalem are also facing attacks every day." He further stated, "We need international protection," and "The United States must stop Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip."
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi called for "an immediate and sustainable ceasefire without any restrictions or conditions."
