Ulsan 100 Dads Group, Autumn Outing with Their Children

Experiences such as Making Pepero at Daewangbyeol Ainuri

Ulsan City will hold an autumn experience program for fathers and their children at Daewangbyeol Ainuri at 10 a.m. on the 11th.

About 100 participants, including members of the ‘Ulsan 100 Dads Group’ and their families, will join this event designed to help strengthen the bond between children and their fathers.

The event will be divided into two groups and will include ▲ making Pepero on November 11 ▲ mini family recreation ▲ watching a juggling show ▲ using the Daewangbyeol Ainuri experience center.

An official from Ulsan City said, “The 100 Dads Group is a project aimed at spreading a parenting culture where both spouses participate,” adding, “We hope fathers and children enjoy their time together and create good memories by the Dong-gu seaside, away from their daily routines.”

The Ulsan 100 Dads Group is a program operated jointly by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ulsan City, and the Ulsan branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association as part of a national awareness improvement project to overcome low birth rates.

Starting with the ‘1st 100 Dads Group’ in 2019, the ‘5th 100 Dads Group’ was formed this year, completing various online and offline programs such as sharing parenting know-how by mentor dads, online parenting missions, and on-site experience programs, and will conclude in November.
