Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education has completed the formation of the 'Education Activity Protection Support Team' consisting of education, legal, and medical experts and is entering full-scale operation.
The Office of Education announced on the 10th that it appointed 10 education experts, 4 medical support members, and 33 legal support members as the support team in two rounds on the 3rd and 9th. Going forward, education experts will manage issues and cases of teacher rights violations occurring at each school and provide comprehensive consulting for problem resolution.
The legal support team will assist with legal responses to infringements on educational activities and provide legal support for malicious complaints and reports of child abuse against teachers. The medical support team, composed of faculty from Gachon University College of Medicine, will offer counseling and treatment to teachers who have experienced violations of their rights.
