The event is a program that tours libraries within Bucheon City, targeting excellent comic works produced through the support projects of the Korea Manhwa Contents Agency. Previously, 582 audience members had the opportunity to meet with six artists at Starlight Maru Library, Starfield Kids Library, and Bucheon City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled.

During the conversations with the artists, the audience engaged in discussions about the creation process and the meanings embedded in the works, and a Q&A session was held to directly address questions about the artists and their works. The program also featured a reading performance by professional voice actors, who vividly performed an episode from the works, receiving great acclaim.

Lee Soo-yeon, who held a conversation with the artist at Yeokgok Library for the work ‘The Scent That Embraces Me,’ said, "The support project from the Korea Manhwa Contents Agency has been a great financial help, and continuously promoting my work through this project has been very beneficial."

An audience member who participated in the event shared, "The reading performance was impressive. It is difficult for children and adults to gather and talk about books together, so this event felt like a very precious opportunity."

‘Weekend Manhwa Talk Talk’ will hold its second half starting on the 11th at Seoul Chaekbogo with artist Park Geon-ung’s 'Hwanggeumdong People.' On the 18th at Kkumyeoul Library, So-man’s 'Bomi and 3: Not Overburdened but Independent' will be featured; on the 25th at Ojeong Library, Baek Won-dal’s 'The Old Man’s Dream'; on December 2nd at Hanulbit Library, Shim Woo-do’s 'Sea of Mind'; on December 16th at Bukbu Library, Ko Jeong-soon’s 'Okchundang'; and on December 23rd at the Korea Manhwa Museum’s Manhwa Library, Seo I-re and Na Mon’s 'Jeongnyeon-i' will be presented.

Applications for participation can be made through the cultural program section of the Bucheon City Library website.
