On the 9th, at the Seo Won Valley Country Club in Paju, Gyeonggi Province (par 71, 7,000 yards), during the first round of the season finale LG Signature Players Championship, he recorded 4 birdies and 2 bogeys over 15 holes, finishing 2 under par. He is tied for 10th place along with Kwon Sung-yeol, Kim Jin-sung, and Park Sung-guk. After completing the 15th hole (par 4), heavy rain caused the round to be suspended.
Ham Jeong-woo, who is first in the award points standings, can secure the award outright if he finishes solo third or better in this tournament. Choi Min-cheol surged ahead with a 6-under-par 65. Jung Han-mil is in second place at 5 under par 66, just one stroke behind, eyeing a comeback.
