The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service has organized a joint labor-management social service group, where the director, labor union chairman, and frontline employees all participate together in social contribution activities. Since relocating to Ulsan Innovation City in 2014, it has established ties with Ulsan City and has been steadily practicing win-win management with local community partners.

One representative activity is the ESG management practice under the theme "Hope Donation to Grandparents' Families' Children with 33,355 Steps Gathered," where 2,000 employees walked a total of 353.33 million steps over a month. Other events include the "Green Steps Donation Campaign," which supported children's healthy lives through a 10 million KRW donation, and "First Winter Sharing Clothes," where 1,100 employees donated 1,287 coats to share warmth with foreign workers from countries without winter.

Additionally, the Service leads the spread of a sharing culture through various social contribution activities such as "Medical Social Service" utilizing the nature of its work, donations for the production of braille tactile teaching aids for visually impaired children, the "Happy Photo Decoration" event where staff visit hospitals to take longevity and family photos for industrial accident patients who have difficulty moving outside due to hospitalization, and talent donation volunteer activities for vulnerable groups and local children.

Park Jong-gil, Director of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, said, "We were able to be recognized for our good influence in the Ulsan area over the past 10 years," and added, "The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service will continue its efforts to contribute to regional development as a member of the Ulsan community."
