Appointment of Resident Planning Group for Establishing Military Basic Plan, 1st Meeting Held
On the 8th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 9th that it held the appointment ceremony for the resident planning group and the first meeting to establish the '2040 Damyang County Basic Plan.'
The resident planning group is operated to encourage participation from various resident groups in the process of establishing the county basic plan, including setting the future vision of Damyang-gun, establishing sector-specific promotion strategies, and deriving planning tasks by living area, in order to form a consensus on regional development.
At the appointment ceremony held that day, Damyang-gun Governor Lee Byeong-no, along with the resident planning group and related officials, attended and presented appointment certificates to 40 members of the resident planning group.
During the subsequent meeting, opinions were shared regarding the discovery of core values to derive Damyang's future vision.
The county recruited the resident planning group from September to October.
The selected 40 members are organized into four subcommittees, and the resident planning group will operate over six sessions until December 13, after which the '2040 Damyang County Basic Plan' will be established based on the opinions derived.
Governor Lee Byeong-no stated, "We will listen carefully to the valuable opinions of the resident planning group and citizens so that the '2040 Damyang County Basic Plan,' which will guide Damyang's future, can be established in accordance with the will of the residents."
