The documentary "Homibando" begins with the early spring seaweed harvesting work of haenyeo (female divers), reexamining the lives of the "Pohang Haenyeo," who have long connected the sea and people, and prompting reflection on the preservation value of local marine resources.

It then introduces the geographical environment and historical significance of Homibando through Janggi Eupseong Fortress, exile culture, Malmok Fortress, and Guryongpo Port. Additionally, by detailing the various coastal erosion landforms of Homibando, known as a vast natural museum, it revisits the geomorphological value of Homibando.

Furthermore, viewers can enjoy the clear and blue East Sea’s diverse charms while walking along the Homibando coastal trail with Seo Myeongsuk, the founder of Jeju Olle Trail and chairperson.

Pohang City aims to re-highlight the precious values of Homibando through this documentary production, establish opportunities and measures for its preservation, and strengthen efforts for the creation of the national marine garden through domestic and international promotion.

Park Jaegwan, spokesperson for Pohang City, said, "We ask for many views and promotion of this documentary introducing Homibando," and added, "We hope citizens will show passionate interest and support so that the Homibando National Marine Garden project can be successfully carried out."
