Cheering Message Project
Seven Eleven announced on the 9th that it will carry out a support message project ahead of the final selection of the host city for the 2030 World Expo on the 28th.
Earlier this month, Seven Eleven simultaneously distributed over 14,000 posters nationwide containing messages wishing for the successful bid of the 2030 Busan World Expo, and instructed stores to display them outside. The posters feature support phrases wishing for the successful bid of the 2030 Busan World Expo along with Busan’s representative character, the seagull 'Bugi,' drawing a heart with its hand.
In addition, support messages for the Busan World Expo bid and images of Bugi will be displayed on store POS customer screens and digital signage installed inside and outside the stores, continuously delivering support messages to customers visiting the stores.
Seven Eleven is also delivering support messages through its official social media services (SNS). Since the 2nd, Seven Eleven has been posting the official emblem of the 2030 Busan World Expo and support messages together on major content uploaded to its official Instagram, YouTube, and other SNS accounts. In particular, posts related to the Pepero Day event in November, which attracts the most customer interest, actively include support messages.
If Busan succeeds in winning the bid for the World Expo on the 28th, a congratulatory comment event on SNS is also planned.
A Seven Eleven official said, "We have joined forces with our parent company Lotte to support the success of the 2030 Busan World Expo, which the entire nation hopes for," adding, "We will actively deliver support messages so that customers visiting our stores can also cheer together with one heart."
