Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 8th that Doosan Enerbility and the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry donated 150 million KRW in winter heating expenses to energy-vulnerable groups.

This is the second consecutive year that Doosan Enerbility and the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry have donated to support energy-vulnerable groups. The donated heating expenses will be distributed at 120,000 KRW each to 1,254 households with four or more members who are eligible for energy vouchers, easing their heating cost burdens during the winter.
Jung Yeon-in, President of Doosan Enerbility, said, “This support, based on our corporate social responsibility theme of ‘Light and Energy,’ is hoped to provide some help to vulnerable households during the winter season.” He added, “Doosan Enerbility plans to continue focusing its social contribution activities on alleviating the difficulties faced by energy-vulnerable groups.”
Gu Ja-cheon, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, “We hope warmth reaches the vulnerable groups. The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry will strive to be closer to neighbors in the local community.”
Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, expressed, “We deeply appreciate the warm sharing activities of Doosan Enerbility and the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the local community. We will work hard to ensure that all citizens can spend a safe and warm winter through welfare policies that closely care for marginalized neighbors.”
