The essential goods package support project is implemented to alleviate psychological burdens and promote health for integrated case management target households and low-income families facing rising prices and economic hardships.

The packages consisted of nine items including rice, ramen, seaweed, and coffee. The Subi-myeon Customized Welfare Team plans to visit each household, deliver the packages while minimizing face-to-face contact, and check on their well-being.

Mr. Lee (male, 68), who received the essential goods package, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I have been mostly staying at home due to physical discomfort and it has been difficult to go out because of mobility issues. I am truly thankful for this support of essential goods.”

Park Kyunghae, head of the Subi-myeon Administrative Welfare Center, stated, “We hope this support will be of some help to low-income households in the area, and we will actively take the lead in discovering welfare blind spots by paying attention to neighbors in need.”
