Held at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from 10 a.m. on the 8th to the 11th for four days, this year’s Seoul Cafe Show is themed “Together Anew” to emphasize the value of ‘coexistence’ for sustainability in the cafe industry, which is entering a new phase after the pandemic.

Participants include 675 companies and 3,750 brands from 36 countries worldwide, including coffee-producing regions such as Brazil, Ethiopia, and Colombia, as well as Germany, France, Australia, Japan, and Canada.

The Seoul Cafe Show began as Asia’s first coffee exhibition and has grown into a global leading coffee business platform, combining industry, knowledge, and culture. It provides a stepping stone for domestic cafe industry workers to enter the global market, presents trends in the global coffee market, and operates as the world’s largest venue for coffee and food & beverage cultural exchange.

This year’s Seoul Cafe Show features various programs, including the “Trend Unpack Show 2024,” unveiling innovative products that will lead cafe industry trends; “Cherry’s Choice,” a showcase introducing industry hit products; “Coffee Alley,” featuring emerging roastery cafes from around the world; and the “Cafe Show ESG” campaign for a sustainable future.

For visitors to the exhibition, the newly introduced Coffee Alley: Coffee Curation Map recommends personalized coffee beans and brands from among the 73 participating roastery cafes. After a simple survey, it curates coffee tailored to the individual and provides guidance on the Coffee Alley viewing route.

Concurrent events with the Seoul Cafe Show include the “World Coffee Leaders Forum,” a conference where the world’s top coffee experts provide insights, and the “Seoul Coffee Festival,” a coffee celebration held throughout Seoul. The 12th World Coffee Leaders Forum, a global coffee knowledge-sharing platform, runs from the 8th to the 11th and discusses the challenges and technologies encountered when the rapidly changing coffee industry intersects with urban development, technology, and sustainability.

A Seoul Cafe Show official stated, “As this year’s Seoul Cafe Show is the largest ever held, we expect it to be not only a platform for business activation but also the world’s largest venue to experience and exchange coffee and food & beverage culture. We hope visitors will directly experience the future coffee market through the newly introduced programs and companies leading the 2024 coffee trends at this exhibition.”
