Eurozone Producer Price Index Up 0.5% Month-on-Month in September

Producer price inflation in Europe continued in September.

According to Eurostat on the 7th (local time), the Producer Price Index (PPI) for the Eurozone (19 countries using the euro) rose by 0.5% compared to the previous month. This matched the expert forecast of 0.5%.

Compared to the same period last year, it fell by 12.4%. The decline was smaller than the forecast of -12.5%.
