Eunpyeong-gu 'SNS Video Content' Contest

Submission for Shorts and General Videos from November 15 to December 6... Video Contest Showcasing Eunpyeong's Attractions, Natural Scenery, and Travel Destinations... Total Prize Money of 9 Million KRW... Awards for 16 Winners

Seoul Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will hold the "8th Eunpyeong-gu SNS Content Contest" to discover and promote fresh aspects of Eunpyeong from the residents' perspective.

This contest invites promotional video content from residents under the theme "My Eunpyeong, Our Eunpyeong." It aims to raise awareness of Eunpyeong's value and beauty and expand opportunities for resident-created content to activate private communication.

Anyone interested in Eunpyeong can participate. Video content showcasing Eunpyeong-gu's attractions, natural scenery, travel spots, and experiences that participants want to boast about is welcome. Videos can be created freely in formats such as documentaries, dramas, reports, animations, vlogs, drone footage, and promotional videos.

The submission period is from the 15th of this month to December 6. Participants must submit their self-produced video content and all application documents via the designated email. Application forms will be available for download on the district website starting from the 8th.

There are two contest categories: "Shorts" and "General Videos." "Shorts" are vertical videos between 15 and 60 seconds long, while general videos range from 1 to 3 minutes. Both categories require submission of video files in mp4 format with a resolution of 1080p. Videos with excessive shaking will be excluded from judging, and when filming people, a consent form including personal information must be attached.

The total prize money is 9 million KRW, awarded to 16 winners divided between the Shorts and General Video categories. For the Shorts category: ▲Eunpyeong Excellence Award - 1 winner, 500,000 KRW ▲Bukhansan Runner-up Award - 3 winners, 200,000 KRW each ▲Bulgwangcheon Consolation Award - 4 winners, 100,000 KRW each. For the General Video category: ▲Eunpyeong Excellence Award - 1 winner, 2 million KRW ▲Bukhansan Runner-up Award - 2 winners, 1.5 million KRW each ▲Bulgwangcheon Consolation Award - 5 winners, 500,000 KRW each.

The winners will be announced in mid-December after internal and external evaluations. Winning videos will be posted on Eunpyeong-gu's official social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Blog, and Instagram, and will also be displayed in promotional spaces inside the district office building.

Mayor Kim Mi-kyung of Eunpyeong-gu said, "I hope this contest will capture various aspects of Eunpyeong from the residents' perspective and serve as an opportunity to widely promote Eunpyeong's value and beauty. I expect that videos created with fresh ideas and passion will make Eunpyeong shine even brighter."
