Seung-ro Lee, Mayor of Seongbuk District, attended the grand debate on the improvement of the preliminary feasibility study system titled "Seoul Railway Network, Why Is It Difficult to Pass the Preliminary Feasibility Study?" held at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 7th. He emphasized the need to improve the current preliminary feasibility study, which fails to reflect the reality of the Seoul metropolitan area.
The mayor stressed that the current preliminary feasibility study, which excludes the regional balanced development sector and focuses on economic feasibility, cannot reflect the reality of the metropolitan area. He also expressed regret over the absence of Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon at this debate, which deals with projects involving a budget of around 10 trillion won.
