Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, Joins Drug Prevention 'NO EXIT' Campaign

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin District Office, participated in the ‘No EXIT’ campaign to prevent drug crimes on the 7th.

The No EXIT campaign is a nationwide initiative promoted by the National Police Agency and the Anti-Drug Movement Headquarters to raise awareness and vigilance about the seriousness of drugs and to eradicate drug crimes. It proceeds by posting certification photos on social networking services (SNS) and nominating two next participants.

Kim, who was nominated by Park Joon-hee, Mayor of Gwanak District Office, joined the campaign by posting a photo holding a sign that reads “No EXIT drugs, a maze with no exit.”

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin District Office, said, “The number of drug offenders in Korea has exceeded 20,000, and drug crimes have deeply penetrated everyday life, such as the drug beverage incident in the academy district, emerging as a serious social problem. Gwangjin District will do its best to create a safe society free from drugs.”

Kim nominated Park Chang-ji, Chief of Gwangjin Police Station, and Kim Hyun-soo, President of the Student Council at Sejong University, hoping for the positive influence of youth who will lead the future, as the next participants.

The district is conducting preventive education on the misuse of unverified drugs such as study-enhancing drugs and harmful substances including narcotics for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Additionally, to raise awareness and vigilance about the dangers of drug addiction, the district is carrying out a promotional campaign to eradicate illegal drugs targeting all residents.
