Regarding Jo Guk's potential candidacy... Kim Woong says, "Will Jeoncheongjo and Jo Doo-soon also justify themselves by running?"

Former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk hinted at running in next year's general election, stating, "I will find a way to restore my honor through non-legal means," prompting criticism from Kim Woong, a member of the People Power Party, who said, "Since when did running for office become a get-out-of-jail-free card for criminals?"

On the 7th, Kim posted on his social media, "They say it is the right of citizens to politically justify and explain themselves. Then, is it also the right of citizens for Jeon Cheong-jo or Cho Doo-soon to justify and explain themselves by running for office?"

The day before, former Minister Cho hinted at running during the YouTube channel 'Kim Eo-jun's News Factory,' saying, "I am currently on trial, and I will make every effort to explain and justify myself legally. If this is not accepted, I think I must find a way to restore our honor through non-legal means."

In response, Kim criticized, "For ordinary citizens, when charged with a crime and put on trial, it is normal to contest guilt or innocence in court, but those in power turn even criminal trials into gladiator arenas," adding, "All of this is caused by the courts themselves."

He continued, "The trial has been dragged on for over three years, and even when criminals threaten the judicial order, they are not detained in court. Can ordinary citizens even imagine this?" and raised his voice, "Are the courts not the very accomplices of non-legal protection of Cho Kuk?"
