Applications Open Until the 20th, Increasing Related Population Through Vegetable Garden Cultivation, Actively Discovering Tourism, Culture, and Experience Products
Jellanam-do Damyang-gun announced on the 7th that it will additionally recruit hometown love donation return gift suppliers until the 20th.
Return gift suppliers must be businesses located in Damyang-gun that can produce, manufacture, or supply items selected as return gifts.
The recruitment fields this time include the ‘Installation of the Honorary Hall of Fame Plaque for High-Value Donors,’ bamboo craft products, processed foods, gardening, tourism, culture, and experience products, including previously selected items.
Applications for return gift suppliers will be accepted from the 16th to the 20th, and applicants can submit the required documents by visiting the Participation Communication Office at Damyang-gun Office.
Currently, Damyang-gun has registered 38 items, 44 companies, and over 100 products as return gifts.
Among these, local gift certificates, rice, Korean beef, Hangwa (traditional Korean sweets), and traditional liquor are popular.
An official from the county stated, “Through this selection of return gift suppliers, we plan to actively discover not only products reflecting the region’s characteristics but also gardening, tourism, culture, and experience products that will increase visits from related populations.”
Meanwhile, Damyang-gun has selected fund projects to be promoted next year, including ‘Hospital accompaniment for elderly with mobility difficulties and integrated care for discharged patients,’ ‘Support project for local children’s centers to provide musical instrument education opportunities and snack expenses for children to make Damyang a better place to live,’ and ‘Support project for revitalizing the Damyang-eup merchant community by subsidizing nighttime electricity bills and nighttime street events.’
