Gyeonggi Office of Education to Operate 374 Courses at Gyeonggi Irum University Until the 16th of Next Month Students participating in Gyeonggi Irum University under the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education are taking a commemorative photo.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will open and operate 374 courses for the second semester 'Irum University' until the 16th of next month.


Gyeonggi Irum University is a form of shared school program where middle and high school students, as well as out-of-school youth, explore career paths and improve academic skills at local universities and specialized institutions.


This semester, general and short-term courses will be offered at 59 universities and 5 specialized institutions including the Judicial Research and Training Institute, with about 8,600 youths participating.


The courses include 151 visit-type, 29 hub-type, and 194 online-type classes, organized across various fields such as medicine, information and communication, and business administration.


This year, 11 pilot courses will also be operated targeting out-of-school youth of the same age as 3rd-year middle school students to explore career paths before entering high school.
