Warm Neighborly Love in Action: 'Imun I-Park Xi' Donates Rice of Love

Warm Neighborly Love in Action: 'Imun I-Park Xi' Donates Rice of Love

‘Imun I-Park Xi,’ expected to be the largest landmark complex in Seoul’s Imun and Hwikyung New Town, extended a warm hand to the local community ahead of the year-end.

On the 6th (Monday), the Imun 3 Housing Redevelopment Association and HDC Hyundai Development Company visited the Imun 1-dong Community Service Center in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, to donate 530 kg of rice for underprivileged neighbors. The donated rice will be distributed to low-income households and various vulnerable groups through the Community Chest of Korea and other organizations.

Lee Woo-jong, head of the Imun 3 Redevelopment Association, said, “There are many disadvantaged people in the local community facing difficulties, and we are pleased to share warmth through this rice-sharing event. Our association plans to continue practicing neighborly love and promoting a culture of sharing to coexist with the community.”

An HDC Hyundai Development Company official stated, “Due to high inflation and the upcoming cold weather, we wanted to share warmth with the marginalized neighbors in the community, so instead of congratulatory flower wreaths, we received congratulatory rice at the model house opening ceremony. We will continue to carry out various activities to contribute to the local community with a commitment to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.”

Meanwhile, Imun I-Park Xi is a complex being developed in Imun and Hwikyung New Town’s 3rd district, consisting of three residential complexes (Complexes 1, 2, and 3) with a total of 4,321 households in 25 buildings ranging from six basement floors to a maximum of 41 floors above ground, and one officetel building with 594 units. In this sale, a total of 1,467 households with exclusive areas ranging from 20 to 102 square meters were offered. Notably, fierce competition unfolded as about 14,000 applicants applied for 787 units (excluding special supply) within the ranking subscription.

It is located in a prime area near Seoul Subway Line 1’s Hyehwa Station and within walking distance to Sinimun Station on the metropolitan subway Line 1, making it a double-station area. Additionally, nearby road networks such as Imun-ro, Mangu-ro, Dongbu Expressway, and Internal Circulation Road make it easy to access downtown and Gangnam areas by car.

The residential environment is also outstanding. Jungnangcheon Stream flows in front of the complex, and behind it lie Cheonjang Mountain and Uireung Royal Tomb. The surroundings are rich in nature-friendly facilities such as Jungnangcheon Riverside Park, Cheongnyang Neighborhood Park, Cheonjang Children’s Park, and Hongneung Experimental Forest.

Schools at various levels, including Imun Elementary, Seokgwan Middle, Seokgwan High, Kyunghee Middle, and Kyunghee High, are within walking distance, ensuring safe commuting for children. Nearby, there are clusters of universities such as Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Kyung Hee University, Korea National University of Arts, and KAIST Seoul Campus.

The announcement of the winners for Imun I-Park Xi will be on November 8th (Wednesday), and the official contract period will be held for five days from November 20th (Monday) to 24th (Friday).

The Imun I-Park Xi model house is located in the Imun-dong area of Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, with Complexes 1 and 2 scheduled for move-in in November 2025, and Complex 3 in May 2026.
