Gyeongnam Goseong Baseball Players' Autumn Baseball Festival to Be Held on the 12th

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 7th that it will hold the "13th Goseong-gun Baseball Association President's Cup Baseball Tournament" at Goseong-gun Baseball Stadium on the 12th and 19th.

This tournament, held to promote mutual exchange among local baseball teams in Goseong-gun and to expand the base of the baseball sport, is hosted and organized by the Goseong-gun Baseball Association, with about 200 players from 8 teams participating to showcase their skills.

The games will be conducted in a tournament format, with the final winner decided in the championship game on the 19th.

Choi Eun-cheol, president of the Goseong-gun Baseball Association, said, "I hope this tournament will be an opportunity for all participants to enjoy the games safely and to foster harmony and friendship among the players."

Lee Sang-geun, the county governor, said, "I hope all players participating in the tournament will fully demonstrate the skills they have honed and achieve good results," adding, "We will strive to revitalize and expand the baseball sport."

Meanwhile, in the 12th tournament held in 2022, the Dinos team won the championship and the 72 Friends team took second place, and there is growing interest in whether they can maintain excellent performance this year as well.
