CJ CheilJedang Launches 'Baeksul Yuksoo Contains 1min Ring'

CJ CheilJedang Baeksul is expanding its range of soup base seasoning products by introducing a convenient coin broth product.

CJ CheilJedang announced on the 7th that it has launched ‘Baeksul Yuksueneun 1 Bun Ring’. It consists of two types: anchovy and dried pollack broth, and beef bone broth, allowing you to create a rich broth by adding just one piece according to the dish you want to prepare.

‘Baeksul 1 Bun Ring’ features enhanced cooking convenience by shortening the time it takes to dissolve in water. Unlike the existing coin broth in the shape of a coin, it is made in a ‘ring’ shape with a hole in the center, dissolving in boiling water in just one minute. Because it dissolves quickly, it can be used not only for soup dishes but also for stir-fry dishes, which generally have shorter cooking times.

Along with convenience, the taste quality has also been improved. Baeksul 1 Bun Ring contains key raw materials such as anchovy, dried pollack, and beef bone, which make up more than 80% of the total raw ingredients, resulting in a deeper flavor compared to existing products. Additionally, it does not contain malic acid, silicon dioxide, or sodium caseinate, which is expected to receive a positive response from health-conscious consumers. CJ CheilJedang plans to hold a discount event of up to 50% off at distribution channels including nationwide Emart starting on the 16th, as well as Hanaro Mart and Homeplus, alongside the product launch.
