Platform H Signs Business Agreement with Serving Robot Company VD Company

Discussion on Expanding Contact Points with PlatformH Partner Companies such as Pension, Hotel, and Dining Brands

PlatformH (CEO Jongkwang Lee) announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with VD Company to discuss expanding VD Members' touchpoints and developing synergy services.

VD Company is a pioneer in domestic serving robot services and has maintained the number one position in serving robots in Korea since its establishment in 2019. VD Company announced that the number of VD Members, referring to franchise stores that have introduced F&B automation solutions such as serving robots, POS, and table orders, has surpassed 10,000.

PlatformH is developing platform support projects centered on culture, travel, stay, and dining industries, and is preparing to launch a subculture community membership service focused on exhibition spaces.

As part of this service, through its affiliate Museum Liner, PlatformH developed and supplied an interactive AI (artificial intelligence) docent for the 2023 Cheongju Craft Biennale, which surpassed 300,000 cumulative visitors last September and attracted attention in the cultural and arts community. This contribution is significant as it helped create an ecosystem where Cheongju Craft Biennale visitors could interact with the exhibition.

Meanwhile, the Cheongju Craft Biennale was recently announced to have been selected as one of the ‘Local 100 (Top 100 Regional Cultural Attractions)’ by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Local 100 is a project that promotes cultural landmarks, content, and masters based on regional culture, recommended by local governments and citizen discovery teams nationwide.

PlatformH plans to develop services that intersect with VD Company’s serving robot services, focusing on space service providers such as culture, travel, stay, and dining. It also plans to introduce a membership service that provides benefits and enjoyment to stores that have adopted serving robots and their customers.

Through this agreement, PlatformH plans to continuously strengthen cooperation with space service partners such as hotels and pensions for the introduction of VD Company’s serving robot services and the development of synergy services. Additionally, it will actively utilize a user-centric artificial intelligence model that can recommend and propose personalized products and services to customers, enhancing a personalized membership that offers benefits and enjoyment.

To maximize synergy with VD Company, PlatformH also plans to strengthen cooperation with companies providing stay and dining services, such as its partner Stay Interview. Stay Interview operates local stay brands including pensions and hotels, managing 12 pensions nationwide and three cafe spaces?Stay Interview Le Tour, Naseong, and Uidang?and plans to continuously introduce partner spaces such as Padori in Taean.
