Kocca's 'Switch' Counseling Induces 87 Cases
Innerbuz and Others Reach Pitching Contest Finals
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 6th that they operated a Korean joint pavilion at 'SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology)', which ended on the 2nd in Singapore, facilitating eighty-seven business consultations and investment contract negotiations worth 24 million dollars (approximately 31.488 billion won).
SWITCH is Asia's largest global startup exhibition, attended by promising startups and buyers worldwide. This year, about 350 startups from over 100 countries and approximately 15,000 visitors participated. Eight companies joined the Korean joint pavilion, including NewTune, Rebuilder AI, Ad, TagByCompany, TwigFarm, PIA Space, Diov Studio, and InnerBuzz. They sought global business cooperation through conferences, startup showcases, and roundtable discussions.
In particular, Diov Studio and InnerBuzz proved the competitiveness of domestic content startups by reaching the finals in the pitching competition 'SLING SHOT', which featured about 4,700 startups. The former is a company specializing in virtual face graphic technology and virtual human content production, while the latter provides AI-based content marketing solutions.
Yoo Yoon-ok, Head of the Content-Based Division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "The session held under the theme 'Driving K-Content Startups and Innovation' also received great response by sharing insights on business expansion," adding, "We will continue support to expand opportunities for excellent domestic content companies to enter overseas markets."
