As the number of dual-income households increases, robot vacuum cleaners that reduce household chores are becoming essential home appliances. According to Statistics Korea, the number of dual-income households in South Korea reached about 5.85 million last year, accounting for nearly half (46.1%) of all households, marking an all-time high. The global market research firm GfK reported that the domestic robot vacuum cleaner market size grew by 41% compared to 2021, reaching 290 billion KRW last year, and its share of total vacuum cleaner sales increased more than threefold from three years ago (2019) to 22%.

Lotte Department Store will open the official 'Roborock' store on the 5th floor of its Incheon branch on the 7th, the first of its kind in the industry. This is the first time a robot vacuum cleaner brand has opened a standalone store in a department store, rather than being sold through temporary pop-ups or select shops. In particular, since Roborock is the number one brand in the domestic robot vacuum cleaner market, a strong customer response is expected. In fact, the Roborock pop-up store held at the Incheon branch last August generated 400 million KRW in sales over two weeks, attracting significant attention.

At the Lotte Department Store Roborock store, customers can find best-selling products all in one place. The flagship product, the 'S8 Pro Ultra,' features dust suction, automatic emptying, as well as mopping functions that wash and dry the mop, causing sold-out frenzy online, especially among newlyweds. Additionally, popular robot vacuum cleaners such as the 'S8 Plus,' 'S8,' and 'S7 Max Ultra' can be experienced directly in-store. Accessories like mops, dustbin filters, and side brushes will also be sold in the future.

To celebrate the opening, an offline lowest-price promotion will be held. Until the 30th, depending on the product, customers can enjoy up to an 11% discount and receive Lotte gift certificates and accessory kits on a first-come, first-served basis. When all benefits are combined, customers can experience discounts of over 20% off the regular price.

Meanwhile, the Busan main store is operating a 'Dreame' robot vacuum cleaner pop-up store. From the 7th until January 13th next year, a long-term pop-up will be held on the 6th floor of the Busan main store, showcasing carefully selected popular robot vacuum cleaner products. The flagship product is the 'L20 Ultra,' and a promotion is underway where customers receive an accessory set and up to 10% of the purchase amount in Lotte gift certificates.
