Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Hosts Metaverse Talk Concert with Announcer Kim Dae-ho

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (President Park Jung-woon) University Job Plus Headquarters (Director Kim Min-jung) hosted a talk concert titled "Living Youthfully, Living Authentically" on the 26th of last month, inviting MBC announcer Kim Dae-ho as a guest speaker.

The talk concert, held live online on Hankuk University of Foreign Studies' metaverse platform (LG Uplus 'UVERSE'), attracted over 220 HUFS students and local youth, showing great interest.

Announcer Kim sincerely conveyed what it means to live youthfully and authentically with his unique sense of ease, earning enthusiastic applause from the participants. One participant, who said they always watch the shows he appears on, from "Live Tonight" to "I Live Alone," shared, "Although I succeeded in getting a job with difficulty, I still had a frustrating feeling that I couldn't share with friends who are still preparing for employment about whether this is the right way to live." They added, "Today’s talk concert was a healing time for me as I prepare for social life."

Kim Min-jung, Director of Student and Talent Development at the Seoul Campus, stated, "Many young people have been running forward focusing only on employment without truly finding their authentic selves and career paths. We have witnessed many cases where people face emptiness after getting a job or return to job searching because the job does not suit them." She continued, "We hope this was a helpful opportunity for job seekers and young professionals, and we will continue to prepare various programs for youth exhausted from job hunting in the future."
