Alleviating Household Burden and Resolving Local Business Difficulties
Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that from the 7th to the 9th, a three-day "Free Tire Inspection Service and Tire Replacement Event" for Gokseong residents will be held in collaboration with Kumho Tire.
This event was planned to revitalize the local economy and ease the burden on local residents amid recent consumption contraction, economic stagnation, and continuous price increases.
On the 7th, the event will take place at the parking lot of Gokseong Train Village Traditional Market located in Gokseong-eup. On the 8th and 9th, it will be held at the parking lot of Kumho Tire Gokseong Factory located in Ip-myeon.
Employees from Kumho Tire’s Gwangju branch and CS team will also participate in the event. They will conduct comprehensive vehicle safety inspections for visiting customers, including tire balance checks, tire rotation, wear condition and air pressure checks, and washer fluid replacement.
Additionally, guidance on tire maintenance tips for safe driving will be provided. During the event, customers who purchase tires on-site will receive special discounts depending on the product.
A Gokseong-gun official stated, “We hope this event will help alleviate the financial burden on residents even a little. We will continue to support local households and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.”
Kumho Tire Gokseong Factory, located in the Ip-myeon Industrial Complex of Gokseong-gun, has played a pivotal role in revitalizing the local economy.
Since 2013, Kumho Tire Gokseong Factory has continuously conducted free tire inspection campaigns to express gratitude to local residents and promote the excellence of its products.
