Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 2nd that it will hold an invited performance of outstanding works titled ‘Sweet Music Story with Classic’ at 7 p.m. on the 15th at the Jeongeupsa Arts Center.
The performance will make classical music, such as orchestra and vocal music, which is unfamiliar to the general public, more accessible. Baritone Go Seong-hyun, a representative of Korea, and top musical actor Choi Jeong-won will appear, offering a unique charm that differentiates it from traditional classical performances.
Additionally, popera singers Elodie Jang So-yeon, Lee Ga-yeon, Lee Sang-eun, and the three popera stars Kim Jae-bin, Son Jeong-su, and Jeong Seung-jun will deliver smooth music, while bandoneonist Jin Seon will create a stage that enhances audience immersion.
Along with this, a classical performance will be held with conductor Kim Ki-woong and the Sorial Philharmonic Orchestra.
The admission fee is 15,000 won, with a 50% discount for Jeongeup citizens, national merit recipients, and persons with disabilities. Tickets can be purchased from 2 p.m. on the 7th through the Ticketlink website, with a limit of four tickets per person.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “We will continue to hold various cultural performances that meet the expectations of our citizens to relieve cultural thirst and strive to improve the development of local culture and arts as well as the quality of life of our citizens.”
