Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical sells the pest repellent "Mospense." Mospense is a quasi-drug mosquito and tick repellent approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety under the name "Mos Safeguard Liquid."
A company official stated, "Mospense contains 15% Icaridin and is highly effective in repelling mosquitoes and ticks," adding, "Considering the duration of effect, it is helpful to use tick repellents periodically."
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency published a bedbug prevention and response information booklet on the 25th to alleviate public anxiety about bedbugs and enable prompt response upon detection. According to the material, pest repellents can be sprayed on body parts such as arms and legs or on clothing to prevent pest approach.
