Earlier, Hyundai Home Shopping conducted a customer participation-type abandoned animal support campaign on its official online mall, Hyundai H Mall, from the 2nd to the 29th of this month in celebration of 'Animal Day' (October 4). For each cheering comment posted on the campaign page, Hyundai Home Shopping donated 1 kg of pet food, and Harim Pet Food donated 1 kg of pet food for each product sold on Hyundai H Mall during the campaign period. As a result of the campaign, Hyundai Home Shopping donated 1.5 tons and Harim Pet Food donated 1 ton of pet food, delivering a total of 2.5 tons of pet food.
Additionally, Hyundai Home Shopping allowed consumers who purchased next-day delivery pet products on Hyundai H Mall during the same period to participate in the donation event. This event donated 10 packets of pet probiotics per consumer (limited to one time per person), resulting in a total of 3,000 packets of pet probiotics being delivered to the Korea Abandoned Animal Welfare Association.
The abandoned animal support campaign has been steadily conducted by Hyundai Home Shopping since 2020. This year, it was held three times: on March 23 for 'Dog Day,' August 19 for 'World Abandoned Animal Day,' and this month for 'Animal Day.' Since 2020, Hyundai Home Shopping has donated a cumulative total of 28 tons of pet food to the Korea Abandoned Animal Welfare Association through these campaigns.
