Improving Housing Conditions for Vulnerable Households in Gangseo-gu Through Talent Donation on the 26th
The Gangseo branch of the Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Moon Young-pyo) conducted technical volunteer work on the 26th for five vulnerable households in collaboration with the Gangseo-gu Volunteer Center as part of its community sharing management initiative.
The corporation's technical volunteer team worked to improve living conditions by installing insect screens and supplementing window insulation to prepare for the winter cold, addressing various inconveniences faced by vulnerable households.
The technical volunteer team received the Gangseo-gu Office Chief Award at the '2022 Volunteer Merit Award Ceremony' hosted by Gangseo-gu Office in December last year. Since its establishment three years ago, the team has consistently engaged in regular volunteer activities for vulnerable groups, striving to fulfill social responsibility as a public institution and expand contributions to the local community.
Lee Ni-se, head of the technical volunteer team, stated, “We will continue to promote home repair volunteer activities to provide a safe living environment by visiting vulnerable groups.”
