Jeju Port Fishing Boat Capsizes...7 Rescued (Comprehensive)

A fishing vessel operating off the coast of Jeju capsized, prompting the Coast Guard to launch an emergency rescue operation and save seven people.

According to the Jeju Regional Coast Guard on the 27th, at around 2:28 PM that day, a report was received that a 24-ton coastal set net fishing vessel registered in Mokpo had capsized approximately 22 km north of Jeju Port, leading the Coast Guard to respond urgently.

Upon receiving the report, the Coast Guard dispatched a team to the scene and rescued seven crew members who had climbed onto the overturned vessel's hull by helicopter. The seven rescued individuals are showing symptoms such as hypothermia but are in stable condition without life-threatening injuries.
