Youth Entrepreneurs On-site Communication, Q&A, and Business Updates Sharing
Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk, held the ‘Startup! Ask Us YOUNGdeok! Youth Startup Community’ on the 26th at the Youth Startup Regional Settlement Support Center, providing a place for young entrepreneurs who started businesses in the area to learn from the know-how of successful entrepreneurs and communicate with each other.
This event was agreed upon during the ‘On-site Communication Day’ meeting on July 3rd, where Kim Gwang-yeol, the head of Yeongdeok-gun, exchanged opinions with young people who moved to the area. It was organized as a place for existing entrepreneurs and new entrepreneurs to communicate and share opinions on various topics such as youth support policies.
About ten entrepreneurs who participated that day are young people actively engaged in various businesses within the region. They shared recent business updates, proposed collaborative projects among entrepreneurs, and actively communicated. They also requested guidance on future government public projects.
In response, Yeongdeok-gun plans to actively inform young entrepreneurs about new projects in the future and share and collect entrepreneurs’ opinions on youth support projects during the process to reflect them accordingly.
Lee Tae-ho, Director of the Job and Economy Division, stated, “We will support this community so that it does not end as a one-time event and that communication between existing entrepreneurs and new prospective entrepreneurs can be activated continuously.”
