KT and digital logistics specialist group RollLab announced on the 27th that their AI freight brokerage platform ‘Brocarry’ has been selected as a government-certified Excellent Freight Information Network.
The Excellent Freight Information Network is a certification system introduced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in 2013 to provide reliable information on freight and vehicles, reduce empty truck runs, and establish transparent transportation transaction order. Due to stringent selection criteria, only four domestic freight information network operators, including Brocarry, have obtained the Excellent Freight Information Network certification. Notably, Brocarry was selected as a new operator within a short period of 1 year and 6 months since its launch, despite no additional operators being selected in the past five years.

With Brocarry’s selection as an Excellent Freight Information Network, transportation operators can be recognized for direct transportation when consigning freight through Brocarry. Additionally, the burden of performance report obligations will be reduced through proxy reporting of transportation performance, greatly enhancing logistics work convenience and efficiency for users. The company explained that based on KT’s security solutions and IT capabilities, Brocarry met all the strict evaluation criteria of the Excellent Freight Information Network, including system stability and personal information protection, officially recognizing the excellence of its service quality.
Currently, Brocarry is showing a steep growth trend, with brokerage transactions increasing by more than 700% compared to the same month last year. Furthermore, along with Brocarry 2.0, it provides comprehensive logistics consulting services that offer optimal transportation methods and rates to corporate customers with high logistics volumes by utilizing KT’s AI transportation optimization platform LIS’FO.
Going forward, the service will be advanced in connection with KT’s AI and digital transformation (DX) capabilities. Plans include integrating Brocarry with client company linkage solutions and embedding Brocarry within freight truck-exclusive IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) services to provide an environment where shippers and truck owners can use the service more conveniently, leading the digital logistics market with differentiated services.
Choi Kang-rim, Head of KT AI Mobility Business Unit (Executive Director), said, “Brocarry securing official certification as an Excellent Freight Information Network just 1 year and 6 months after its launch signifies recognition of Brocarry’s excellence as a platform and readiness to provide higher-level freight brokerage services to shippers and truck owners. We will focus our DX capabilities to activate the digital freight brokerage market by creating a transparent and reliable platform-based ecosystem for shippers and truck owners, providing users with advanced services and greater benefits.”
