Changwon Special City Operates Night Service Desk for 3rd Phase Gaenari Public Apartment Lease Renewal

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam is operating a night service window from the 23rd to the 27th for the renewal of contracts at Gaenari 3rd Public Rental Apartments located in Namyang-dong, Seongsan-gu.

Changwon Special City is operating a night service window for rental contracts of city-owned apartments.

Gaenari 3rd Public Rental Apartments were built to provide housing stability for low-income households without homes, consisting of 7 buildings with 990 households currently residing. Since the original contract period ends on the 31st, residents must visit the Gaenari 3rd management office with the required documents within the period to renew their contracts.

Currently, more than 50% of the residents in Gaenari 3rd are elderly aged 65 or older. To accommodate the convenience of seniors with mobility difficulties, the city has set up a contract window at the Gaenari 3rd management office to promote on-site rental contract renewals.

Shin Sung-gi, Director of the Housing Policy Division, said, “Through the operation of the on-site public rental contract renewal window, we hope to alleviate the inconvenience for seniors and workers who find it difficult to visit City Hall. We will continue to pursue proactive administration centered on the needs of residents.”
