NC Participates in G-Star After 8 Years, Developing Games Reflecting User Feedback

NCSoft will meet users in person for the first time in 8 years at the international game exhibition ‘G-STAR 2023’.

This year at G-STAR, NCSoft is organizing opportunities for developers of each game IP (intellectual property) to meet users directly. From the opening of the event on the 16th of next month until its closing on the 19th, various occasions will be arranged for active developers and users to interact face-to-face.

On the first day, the 16th, the event will kick off with an ‘Opening Speech’. During the opening speech, official videos of the exhibited titles will be unveiled, and the unique features and fun elements of each IP will be introduced. At 3 PM that day, the development team of the collectible RPG ‘Project BSS’ will meet with users.

From the 17th onward, the development teams of ▲brawler action ‘BATTLE CRUSH’ ▲MMORTS ‘Project G’ ▲interactive adventure ‘Project M’ ▲shooting game ‘LLL’ will visit the venue in sequence.

The G-STAR exhibited titles were first revealed through YouTube videos as part of NCSoft’s unique communication culture called ‘N-Sing’. Since June last year, NCSoft has been sharing the development process and gathering user feedback through various channels such as YouTube and social networking services (SNS), based on the cornerstone message of ‘creating games together’.

A representative example of user feedback being reflected in the actual game is the MMORPG ‘Throne and Liberty (hereafter TL)’. After conducting a closed beta test for TL in May, NCSoft confirmed user voices regarding early growth experience and combat system improvements. The latest version of TL, incorporating user feedback, can be experienced at the G-STAR venue.

At G-STAR, NCSoft will operate demo booths for three new titles: ▲‘LLL’ ▲‘Battle Crush’ ▲‘Project BSS’. The voices of users gathered offline will be delivered to the development camp and utilized for game improvements.

NCSoft is participating in this year’s G-STAR with a total of 200 booths. The booths are composed of ▲demo zones ▲event zones ▲special stages. During the G-STAR period, all visitors to the NCSoft booths will receive a ‘Welcome Back’ gift, and various prize events will also be held.
