Lotte ON Boosts Sales by 40% Featuring Lee Hyori

Lotte ON announced on the 27th that the ‘Brand Fantasy’ event, which has been ongoing since the 16th, is receiving enthusiastic customer responses thanks to the ‘Lee Hyori advertisement’ effect.


Lotte ON is raising awareness as a premium shopping platform by running the 'Shopping Fantasy' advertising campaign with singer Lee Hyori. The main advertisement video surpassed 2 million views within a week of its release, and analysis through an internal big data program showed that online mentions of ‘Lotte ON’ on portals and SNS approximately doubled compared to before the advertisement was launched.

Additionally, related search terms paired with ‘Lotte ON’ have shifted from primarily products and discounts to shopping and premium, indicating a change in customer perception.


This growing customer interest has led to increases in Lotte ON’s sales and customer numbers. During the first week of the event (October 16?22), Lotte ON’s sales rose by more than 40% year-on-year, and both app visitors and purchasers showed double-digit growth.


The response from participating brands has also been positive. Various brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Kiehl’s, Lanc?me, Baba Family, UGG, and Nike participated during the event period, offering exclusive benefits on Lotte ON. As a result, some brands achieved their highest sales since joining Lotte ON, and certain brands recorded sales more than six times higher than their peak sales in October last year, clearly benefiting from the advertisement and event. During the first week of the event, sales of 'On & The Beauty' and 'On & The Fashion' increased by 30% and 50% year-on-year, respectively, and new sign-ups for the integrated membership ‘On & The Club’ in the specialty stores increased more than eightfold compared to last year’s On & The Beauty Club performance during the same period.


Lotte ON will continue the Brand Fantasy event until December 3. Each day during the event, three brands will be selected to offer exclusive benefits on Lotte ON, and only the participating brands for the event day and the following day will be disclosed to encourage customers to visit daily and experience various brands. Until the end of this month, Yuhan-Kimberly (27th), Maeil Dairies (28th), and Covernat (29th) will participate, offering popular products with discounts and exclusive bundles.
