Cooperation Facilitation Group, Recruiting Students for Global OD 4th Cohort

KOOFA Facilitation Group Inc. (CEO: Koo Ki-wook), known as the "Facilitation Master," which operates the long-term training program for organizational development experts, 'KOOFA Global OD,' announced on the 27th that it is recruiting students for the 4th cohort.

'KOOFA Global OD' is the only long-term training program in Korea developed by KOOFA Facilitation Group to help more organizations undergo change by nurturing organizational development experts. The program focuses on enhancing six core competencies of organizational development experts: facilitation, mission and motivation, philosophy and human relations, organizational development methodologies, opportunities, and marketing. It offers an integrated curriculum including knowledge, theory, carefully selected learning materials, and academic journals, with a long-term education period of about one year.

Within the regular curriculum, besides theory-based learning centered on textbooks, the program includes special lectures by external experts, paper seminars, and organizational development case-sharing sessions to provide broad knowledge and know-how. It also emphasizes learner-centered practical classes to help realize theory, introducing practical methodologies and various cases through a professional teaching staff composed of current organizational development consultants at KOOFA Facilitation Group, thereby enhancing the quality of education.

KOOFA Facilitation Group plans to hold an admission briefing session for the 4th cohort of 'KOOFA Global OD' on November 16 at 7:30 PM at KOOFA Forest located in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. Students will receive regular classes totaling over 410 hours, including KOOFA open courses, for 6 hours weekly over two semesters from March next year to February 2025.

Eligibility for enrollment requires a bachelor's degree or higher and at least two years of practical experience or equivalent other experience. Applicants must have English proficiency sufficient to handle regular courses using English textbooks and academic papers. Early bird registration by December 31 of this year offers a 1,000,000 KRW discount. Graduates of KOOFA open courses can have the tuition fee for those courses deducted from their tuition. Additionally, those admitted through recommendations by 'KOOFA Global OD' alumni or employees of non-profit organizations are eligible for a 15% tuition discount.

Koo Ki-wook, CEO of KOOFA Facilitation Group, stated, "As a professional organizational development consulting company, we share 11 years of accumulated field experience and know-how, focusing on strengthening essential competencies through systematic and diverse curricula centered on six core tasks emphasized for organizational development consultants." He added, "We welcome anyone who dreams of becoming an OD expert capable of building healthy organizations together with their members."

To date, two cohorts of 'KOOFA Global OD' have graduated, and the third cohort is currently undergoing the second semester. The program is known for high satisfaction among students and alumni. Stella, a first cohort graduate and organizational development consultant at KOOFA Facilitation Group, said, "After completing the Global OD, my salary increased more than other employees, and I received much recognition." Jane, CEO of the Organizational Well-being Design Institute (OWDI), and John, former head of SK's Education Business Division and Leadership Development Team, who completed the same program, shared their feedback: "If you value practical experience over degrees, I recommend KOOFA Global OD," and "In terms of depth of knowledge, experience, and sincerity, the faculty is superior to any company's," respectively.

Daniel, a second cohort graduate and head of the organizational development team at a leading food bio-industry company, and Gino, director of the senior service platform Gray Mall, also expressed satisfaction, saying, "With the help of Global OD, I successfully conducted a workshop attended by 500 people," and "It was a program that exceeded expectations by providing sufficient solutions for organizational communication and decision-making."

Meanwhile, established in 2012, KOOFA Facilitation Group is Korea's largest facilitation specialist company, having executed over 2,700 consulting projects over 11 years, building professional know-how. The company has focused on spreading proper facilitation by redefining facilitation?a management technique?through the humanities and developing and operating various programs from a new perspective.

Additionally, KOOFA holds six official certifications for the most educational programs from the Korea Facilitators Association (KFA). It won the Gold Award in the facilitation performance category from the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) in 2015. In 2018, it hosted Korea's first large-scale organizational development conference with over 300 participants. Recently, in May 2023, KOOFA successfully held the 200th Initiative Festival for 200 students, marking the 200th session of its flagship facilitator training program, continuously expanding its influence in the related industry.
