Dave Launches Nintendo Switch Version... "Focused on Controls and Optimization"

The Nintendo Switch version features an optimized control environment and compatibility with the Switch controller "Joy-Con," finely implementing its unique tactile feel.

Dave is available as downloadable content on the Nintendo eShop. Users who pre-purchased can continue playing through an update and receive special benefits such as "Boat Painting" and "Sushi Restaurant Interior."

Dave's director, Hwang Jae-ho, stated, "We focused on improving controls and optimization so that players can enjoy the adventure more richly through the Switch. This device expansion is meaningful as it provides differentiated fun to more users."

Meanwhile, the hybrid ocean adventure game Dave, released in June, surpassed 2 million units in global cumulative sales last month.

It secured a score of 90 on the two major game review sites, Metacritic and OpenCritic, earning the "Must Play" badge as the first domestic game to do so. Additionally, it was nominated in three categories, including "PC Game of the Year," at the UK's representative game awards, the Golden Joystick Awards 2023, held next month.
